VIDEO: Drake mocks Alex Rodriguez on ‘Saturday Night Live’

“Degrassi: The Next Generation” star Drake was the host of “Saturday Night Live” this week and the show took the opportunity to bash Alex Rodriguez.

The actor, who apparently has a somewhat-notable music career as well, didn’t exactly pull off a great A-Rod impersonation, but the writing was fairly enjoyable. Then again, the story is so laughable, it makes for a pretty impossible to screw up punchline.

Drake, as A-Rod, appeared on “Piers Morgan Tonight” (with Taran Killam in his usual role) and denied any steroid use and said he was suing MLB and the MLB players’ association … and “steroids for being inside of me and Jackie Robinson for breaking into the major leagues which really led to this whole situation in the first place.”

He also blamed his damning text messages to Biogenesis founder Anthony Bosch on autocorrect. If you think of it, I’m actually quite surprised no person has ever legitimately blamed a scandal on autocorrect.

This also led “A-Rod” to claim he is suing his iPhone and “the dictionary.”

The whole bit was actually the cold open to the show and Rodriguez was the second guest after Chris Christie (which the show sadly missed out on last week since they hadn’t returned to air yet) and before Justin Bieber.

This has nothing to do with sports, but Kate McKinnon’s impersonation of Bieber is absurdly good. She looks just like him. It’s legitimately eerie.
