VIDEO: Mother calls C-SPAN to scold debating sons on-air

The driest channel on television, public affairs and political news hub C-Span, had an interesting moment when a mother called in to scold her sons that were having a debate.

“Oh god it’s mom” says Dallas Woodhouse as he hides his head, while likely having flashbacks to some childhood moment when his mother embarrassed him.

His brother Brad Woodhouse however simply had a thousand-yard stare, and was also possibly spiraling in to the depths of his own childhood memories.

“I’m your mother,” she scolded through the phone. “And I disagree that all families are like ours! I don’t know many families that are fighting at Thanksgiving! I was very glad that this Thanksgiving was the year that you two were supposed to go to your in-laws’, and I’m hoping you’ll have some of this [arguing] out of your system when you come here for Christmas! I would really like a peaceful Christmas!”

The two men suffered a bit more as their mother went on about how much she loves her sons, and how passionate they are about politics.

When asked if she was a Republican or Democrat, Mrs. Woodhouse told the host she was a registered Democrat but had in the past “split her ticket.”
