More Boston-based reality shows will soon start to hit the airwaves.

TNT’s docudrama “Boston’s Finest” is set to premiere Feb. 27, about a month after the much-anticipated and locally-controversial A&E series “Southie Rules” premieres.

“Boston’s Finest” follows members of the Boston Police Department and offers an “unfiltered, real-life, gripping look,” according to the show’s website.

Donnie Wahlberg is an executive producer.

Wahlberg told reporters during a meeting with the Television Critics Association in California that he hopes to pay homage to “quality human beings who do heroic things in a very dangerous environment,” according to the Globe.

He also told the Globe that his brothers Mark and Paul are producing a reality show about Wahlburgers, the family’s eatery in the Hingham Shipyard.
