Waivers: More for Denarius Moore

Raiders rookie WR Denarius Moore was a preseason darling thanks to his jaw-dropping ability to make big plays. Somewhere along the line, he fell behind Darrius Heyward-Bey and Jacoby Ford, becoming an afterthought in the offense. Not anymore.

As the Raiders came out of their bye, they recommitted to Moore as an every-down player. His playmaking style fits perfectly with Carson Palmer, who certainly isn’t afraid to chuck it up and hope for the best. Look for Denarius to sustain WR3 numbers the rest of the way.

The rest of the guys to add for this week:

1. Lance Ball, RB, DEN — Knowshon Moreno (knee) is done for the year and Willis McGahee (hamstring) is iffy. Even if McGahee plays, the Broncos will run enough to get Ball 10-12 carries. If McGahee sits, Ball will get at least 20 carries Thursday.

2. Vince Young, QB, PHL — Michael Vick may try to play through his broken ribs, but it’s a poor bet. And when Young plays, he runs, averaging almost 30 yards per game on the ground in 47 starts for the Titans. He’ll be a top-12 kind of QB play in this pass-happy offense anytime Vick sits.

3. Kendall Hunter, RB, SF — Frank Gore is going to take it easy here the next couple weeks. He’s got knee and ankle woes and the Niners have a short Week 12 as they play on Thanksgiving. If Gore were ever actually ruled out, Hunter would be a borderline RB1 in this run-heavy scheme.

4. Harry Douglas, WR, ATL — Douglas is starting to show some things. After Julio Jones (hamstring) went down last week, Douglas racked up seven catches. Jones’ status is unclear for Week 11, but a speculative add makes sense in deep formats.

5. Vincent Brown, WR, SD — Malcom Floyd (hip) is predictably slow to recover again. Brown has shown unique “go get it” ability on bombs from Philip Rivers.

6. Earl Bennett, WR, CHI — Bennett isn’t much of a playmaker, but Jay Cutler sure loves throwing to him. PPR owners need to take notice.

7. Ed Dickson, TE, BAL — Perhaps the Ravens will finally start using their tight ends like the Patriots use theirs. Dickson is a better option than Anquan Boldin or Torrey Smith for Joe Flacco.
