We can get behind a cat cafe for every neighborhood.

The latest addition to the city’s snack-and-pet scene, Little Lions, is officially open to help SoHo find a little chill. Bask in those high ceilings, with its chandeliers and pressed-tin tiles like you’re hanging out in the parlor of a rich cat lady. The attached cafe is equally glamorous, styled after a Japanese teahouse and serving teas, brewed coffee, vegetarian sandwiches and baked goods like scones, danishes and cookies that can all be taken into the cats’ area.

All the cats at Little Lions are available for adoption through Best Friends Animal Society and have been fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.

An hour-long chill session will run you $11. The cafe portion opens at 8 a.m., but the cats rise a little later at 10 a.m., though you can still watch them snooze through a glass partition while you sip.
