Morgan Tournament of Champions, the ultimate squash showdown, is taking place amid the commuter crowds from today through next Thursday. After decades of singing with the world’s top artists, Darlene Love finally had her moment to shine in the acclaimed documentary “20 Feet from Stardom.” On the heels of the film’s success, pop music’s leading lyricists (Bruce Springsteen, Joan Jett, Elvis Costello) paid tribute to her by writing original songs for Love’s first solo CD, released last year.

Improv Everywhere began staging the No Pants Subway Ride with just a handful of participants back in 2002. Today it’s begrudgingly cherished tradition taking place near the start of each year with thousands of enthusiasts. Whether you like it or not, you’re likely to take part in this pants-free tradition, since unsuspecting straphangers pay witness to the creative feats of nudity. It’s all legal, so keep your judgment at bay — or, better yet, screw up your courage and get in on the bottomless fun.

Partnering with the Jewish Museum, the Film Society of Lincoln Center presents the 25 th anniversary of the Jewish Film Festival. The fest is dedicated to Jewish artists and films from around the world that showcase the diversity of the Jewish experience. The lineup includes over a dozen new works (like the New York premiere of “A Tale of Love and Darkness,” with Natalie Portman), a collection of shorts, Q-and-As with influential filmmakers and a retrospective reaching all the way back to the fest’s origins.

Ante up your exploration of the arts with the Public Theater’s Under the Radar Festival. The fest brings together some of the world’s most inventive works, from experimental theater to puppetry, offering perspectives (and languages) that New Yorkers won’t uncover around 42 nd Street. This year’s lineup includes “Germinal” (in which artists build their world from the ground up, “Minecraft”-style) and a concert from Inuit singer Tanya Tagaq.
