Winners kicks off fall with boots bonanza

A bevy of boots are to be had this week at Winners.

Winners boot event

This week, an extra-delicious delivery of fall boots has arrived at Winners stores across the country — expect to score major deals on goods from coveted designer labels as well as newbie nuggets for the fashion-savvy. FF is particularly partial to high-heeled lovelies that hit just below (or above) the knee, but you’ll also find flats, waterproof sporty styles and ’80s-inspired ankle boots (as seen on many a runway for this season). Where else will you leave with a pair of leather knockouts for as low as $49 a pair?

Hustle there soon, before the best styles disappear for good.

Off The Cuff

Style-savvy men who don’t want to spend a fortune are advised to head to North Toronto’s best-kept secret: Off The Cuff. This well-curated fashion hub offers up a tempting medley of gently used classics and quirky accent pieces from esteemed labels such as Paul Smith, Roberto Cavalli, Burberry, Gucci, Hugo Boss and even Prada. Every item is carefully selected by owner Lee Romberg (one of SweetSpot.ca’s in-the-know contributors) who serves as a trusted on-site wardrobe consultant at no charge. Romberg’s higher-end resale shop is stocked with an impressive index of shirts, ties, suits, coats, designer jeans and many more cool surprises priced well below regular retail. This is an excellent source for both basics and unusual treats — plus the selection is constantly changing. For those wanting to unload top-notch wearables, Off The Cuff is always on the lookout for quality pieces in excellent condition to be sold on consignment.

For a sneak peek, visit www.offthecuff.ca. Otherwise, pop by in-person at 5 Broadway Ave. (north of Eglinton Avenue), 416-489-4248.
