Zinck not available to talk: Secretary

Independent MLA Trevor Zinck is “booked solid” for two weeks and will not be talking to reporters.

Zinck has avoided speaking to the media since Tuesday, when Nova Scotia auditor general Jacques Lapointe revealed RCMP are investigating five provincial politicians for alleged illegal acts.

One of those five is currently a sitting MLA. Leaders of all three political parties insisted Tuesday no one in their caucus is the sitting MLA police are investigating.

Zinck was in meetings all day Tuesday and wouldn’t come out to speak to reporters.

Yesterday, his Dartmouth North office was also busy, with various constituents waiting to speak to the independent MLA.

His secretary told Metro that Zinck is “booked solid” with constituent work for at least the next two weeks and will not be available.
