A pedestrian was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car near Fenway Park late Monday evening, WHDHreported.
The unidentified victim was reportedly struck while crossing Boylston Street around 9:00 p.m. outside of Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar and Grill. The victim was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital for serious injuries.
“There was a large hole in the shattered front windshield of the late-model Honda. Homicide investigators were called to the scene and shut down the street to process the evidence, placing fluorescent green evidence markers on the car and throughout the street,” according toThe Boston Herald,
The driver of the car remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
