The Boston Police announced their new four-legged addition to the force.
After digging around 20,000 suggestions submitted from all over, the BPD decided to name the 11-week-old Belgian Shepherd Viggo.
The BPD hosted a contest, asking folks to submit strong, two-syllable names for the police pooch. On Tuesday, they released a list of finalists:
Officer Troy Caisey had the final say in his partner’s name and Viggo took the cake. He’s one adorable pooch, so long as you’re not on the receiving end of his training.
