Charlie Sheen to reveal HIV status during 'Today' interview: report

NBC has been floating around a press release about tomorrow's interview with Charlie Sheen on the "Today" show, teasing that the former "Two and a Half Men" star will be making a "revealing personal announcement." And sources tell TMZ that the specific details of that announcement is that Sheen is HIV positive. The website claims that NBC sources have confirmed that will be the focus of his live chat with Matt Lauer.

The news comes on the heels of a National Enquirer report announced today also discussing Sheen's HIV status, claiming that the article will detail years of "hiding the diagnosis and allegedly engaging in unprotected sex with unsuspecting women."
