In one of the more obnoxious examples of tabloid over-reaching, the Daily Mail recently criticized David and Victoria Beckham for letting their 4-year-old daughter, Harper, still use a pacifier after paparazzi photos showed her with one recently, fretting that it could lead to "speech or dental issues." Your concern is duly noted, Daily Mail.
But Mr. Beckham is having none of it. "Why do people feel they have the right to criticize a parent about their own children without having any fact?" he posted to Instagram. "Everybody who has children knows that when they aren't feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best, and most of the time it's a pacifier, so those who criticize think twice about what you say about other people's children because actually you have no right to criticize me as a parent." So there.
