In one of the more obnoxious examples of tabloid over-reaching, the Daily Mail recently criticized David and Victoria Beckham for letting their 4-year-old daughter, Harper, still use a pacifier after paparazzi photos showed her with one recently, fretting that it could lead to “speech or dental issues.” Your concern is duly noted, Daily Mail. RELATED:David Beckham powerless against the whims of his teens But Mr. Beckham is having none of it. “Why do people feel they have the right to criticize a parent about their own children without having any fact?” he posted to Instagram. “Everybody who has children knows that when they aren’t feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best, and most of the time it’s a pacifier, so those who criticize think twice about what you say about other people’s children because actually you have no right to criticize me as a parent.” So there.
