Fans of both country music and long-term matrimony are likely pretty bummed out today, as "The Voice" judge Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert are getting a divorce. The couple announced the news via a statement to the Associated Press, so you know it's legit and that they're super-classy, as far as marriage-dissolvers go. People magazine? Bah! Telling some creepy TMZ cameraman? Never! Get me the wire service of record!

The couple first met in 2005 and were married in 2011. "This is not the future we envisioned," a rep for Shelton and Lambert says. "And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter." Respect their realness, OK?
