The blind audition is the most iconic part of the The Voice and it’s a great point to look back on to see where the winners of the talent show started out.

In celebration of the start of The Voice’s 8th season we’ve collected the blind auditions of every single winner from the past seven seasons. Take a look at the videos below:

Javier Colon, the winner of season 1, auditioned for the show singing the classic slow jam “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper.

Jermaine Paul, season 2’s champion, perfomed “Complicated” by Avril Lavigne for his audition.

The first woman to win The Voice, Casadee Pope, sang the 90s hit “Torn” byNatalie Imbruglia during her season 3 audition.

Danielle Bradbery, the youngest contestant to win The Voice, stole the season 4 judge’s hearts by singing “Mean” by Taylor Swift.

Tessane Chin, tried singing “Try” by Pink to impress the judges and her efforts paid off, as she was picked for the show and eneded up winning season 5.

Season 6’s winner, Josh Kaufman, won over the judges by singing George Michael’s “One More Try.”

Last year’s winner, Craig Wayne Boyd sang the country classic “The Whiskey ain’t Working” for his audition.
