A Quincy man is dead after he suffered a head injury while trying to stop a fight in Dorchester, reports said.
Brian Hingston, 45, was on a party bus with friends early Sunday morning when a fight broke out in a Dorchester parking lot near Adams Street and Gallivan Boulevard, WCVB reported.
According to the Boston Herald, Hingston fell and hit his head after he was pushed. Hingston was rushed to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
Authorities have yet to file any charges, and are awaiting an autopsy report in the ongoing investigation, WHDH reported.
A statement from Hingston’s family described him as “a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend,” WHDH added.
