Looking to spruce up your home for the new year? The first Philly Home + Garden Show is on next weekend, January 15-17, at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks. More than 150 exhibitors will be displaying their wares and giving guidance on every type of home project you can think of, from small décor upgrades to major renovations.

On the main stage, experts Jonathan and Drew Scott from HGTV’s “Property Brothers” and Chip Wade, host of the network’s “Elbow Room,” will do demos and host Q&A sessions, plus make time for fan meet and greets.

Attendees can also participate in a DIY make-and-take session, walk through a model smart home filled with high-tech and eco-friendly features, and get outdoor inspiration touring six elaborate gardens.

Alex Holley of Fox29’s “Good Day Philadelphia” teamed up with Ballard Designs and Denise Sabia of The Painted Home to design a lounge at the show where you can take a break from planning all the projects you're now ready to tackle.

The show, at 100 Station Ave. in Oaks, is open Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door or $8 in advance online. Kids 12 and under get in free.
