One person died and six people were injured when a Coca-Cola truck crashed into a Bronx building Monday afternoon, fire officials said.

The truck hit scaffolding before it slammed into the building at East 138th Street and Willow Avenue in the Port Morrison section at around 3:20 p.m., according to FDNY. Pictures from local media outlets showed the red Coca-Cola truck stuck underneath the scaffolding.

A woman who was among a group of pedestrians struck by the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, published reports said.

Six other individuals suffered minor injuries and were taken to Lincoln Hospital, the FDNY said.
