We've all seen the "Sex and the City" episode where we learned Carrie Bradshaw's greatest love is New York City, but that doesn't mean you can't have some fun with a man of the seas. Here's where to meet sailors during Fleet Week

On their boat

Get on their turf! You can meet sailors on U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Naval Academy Yard Patrol boats during the day (until 5 p.m.) at Piers 86 and 92 Thursday through Monday. Check the schedule to see exactly when each boat is open.

Times Square

Think about it - most sailors are tourists. We suggest hitting up Times Square to find sailors taking pictures with Elmo or attending Broadway shows. You can also catch them at a military band concert at 43rd - 44th Plaza on Friday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

NYC Tattoo Music Festival

What better way to bond with sailors than to talk about tattoos and enjoy live music? Check out the 69th Armory on Lexington Avenue for this free festival 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Citi Field

What's more American than meeting a military guy at a baseball game? We bet you'll meet lots of sailors grabbing beers at Shake Shack at Citi Field on Sunday 1:10 to 4 p.m. during the Mets vs. the Phillies game. This special game coincides with USO Military Appreciation Day and a U.S. Navy Flyover.

Dive bars

According to Yelp reviewers, popular Fleet Week bars include Rudy's and McSorley's. A 2011 CBS article claimed that other dives like O'Lunney's and Jake's Dilemma were popular among the sea men.

Tinder

Sailors know the only direction to swipe is right.
