Chris Van Allburg's 1985's book "The Polar Express" became an instant children's classic, and even more iconic after the release of the 2004 movie. Tonight, Barnes & Noble will be celebrating the book's 30th anniversay with a big party at all NYC locations.

Bring your kids to this 100 percent free event, complete with crafts, games and of course a special storytime reading of the book. Kids are encouraged to wear their PJs; after all the little boy in the book is in his pajamas for the whole nighttime adventure!

The event kicks off tonight, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. Click here for more details.
