The NYPD has released photos of a subway rider who they say stabbed a young boy on a Brooklyn train on Wednesday night after the two got into a verbal dispute.

On April 6 at about 6 p.m. the 13-year-old victim was onboard a Manhattan bound C train approaching the Ralph Avenue station when he got into a verbal argument with the suspect, according to police.

As the doors of the train car opened at the Brooklyn station, the suspect — described to be between 14 and 16 years old — took out a knife from her bag and stabbed the young boy once in his abdomen, cops said.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and took the victim to a local hospital where he is in stable condition.

Police have the described the suspect as a black female with brown eyes, about 5 feet 5 inches and about 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and light blue jeans.
