New Yorkers are used to living small, and you could say the city has making small spaces livable down to a science.
However a new video from international design group, KitoKo Studios, shows off just how small a “livable” apartment can be.
The group recently undertook the renovation of a Paris “Maid’s Quarters,” a space measuring 8 square meters (about 86 square feet).
The new studio features just about everything a New Yorker could need. As long as that New Yorker is okay with a tiny closet, a lofted twin bed (hidden in a cupboard), a sink the size of a salad bowl, no stove or oven, a single window, and a shower that doubles as a toilet and sink.
