A woman was raped at gunpoint in the Port Authority Bus Terminal by a date she met online on Monday, The New York Post reports.

The woman, whose identity has been kept confidential by investigators, told officers that she met her date on eHarmony. His screen name was “Jeffery Kent;” however, that could be a false name.

The pair reportedly agreed to have their first date in the city and met at the Port Authority on Monday afternoon around 4:00 p.m.

Kent reportedly propositioned her, and she refused, which is when he threatened her with a gun, took her to a secluded section of the terminal and raped her.

Police are currently investigating the incident and are looking for witnesses.
