VIDEO: How to make a DIY hologram projector using your smartphone

If you’ve ever wanted to create your own miniature hologram projector, then here’s your chance.

Tech-geek and product reviewer “MrWhoseTheBoss” explains how to turn your smartphone into a small hologram projector in a few short steps.

According to him, here’s what you’ll need

  • Graph paper
  • CD jewel case
  • Tape or glue
  • Pen
  • Scissors
  • Smartphone
  • Knife or glass cutter

There’s a chance you will already have most of the items listed.

If you have any do-it-your-self project skills, the instructions appear to be simple and straightforward. First, you take the graph paper and draw a rhombus shape. The dimensions of the rhombus should be 1 centimeter x 3.5 centimeters x 6 centimeters. Second, you cut out the template, place it on the CD case and use the knife or glass cutter to cut out the shape. Next, you take the pieces and tape them together.

After building your smartphone hologram device, all you need to do is find a video made for hologram projection.
