10 ways to party on Halloween weekend

It doesn’t get much wilder than Halloween weekend, and there are parties everywhere you look. We picked some of your best bets.

A Refined Masquerade

Haunted Mansion Bash

Don’t think that just because of the low price tag you don’t have to turn up in costume — the dress code is strict, so a little extra eyeliner won’t do it. The new Flatiron night club will have two DJs spinning hip-hop and dance music, with an open vodka bar from 10-11 p.m. Tack on just $10 to the already way cheap ticket and you’ll get access to seating on the mezzanine level; bottle service is pretty affordable, too.

’80s & ’90s Halloween Party

Some see Halloween as a scary occasion, but at The Skint sees it as a chance to throw the campiest party of the year. The best of the decades, from “Express Yourself” to “Come As You Are,” will be spun by DJ Steve Reynolds (his usual gig is the Bell House’s Party Like It’s 1999, so he knows his stuff), plus a haunted photo booth, drink specials and lots of candy. Any costume is welcome, if you want to get another wear out of your T-Swift or Pizza Rat ensemble.

Loopy Doopy Halloween Party

Your summer hotspot on the Hudson just got winterized. There’s a new tent and heat lamps for Halloween partiers who want to make the most of the day by starting the celebration at noon atLoopy Doopy Rooftop Bar. The venue’s first-ever costume party will feature live music and themed cocktails.

The Graveyard Shift

Get high above the ghouls prowling the streets to party away The Graveyard Shift, a costumed evening beginning at 8 p.m. emceed by a drag host, an appetizer assortment and great (covered) seats to watch the Empire State Building’s light show. Sip one of their hallowed cocktails for the night like Death’s Door, made with Breckenridge bourbon, cinnamon agave and fresh orange juice.

Kimoto Rooftop Masquerade

No costume, low on funds and no plans yet for Halloween? Visit Aloft Hotel’s Kimoto Rooftop Beer Garden for a one-hour open bar (9-10 p.m.) and masquerade party. Dress to impress, but no costumes are needed; free masks will be handed out at the door. There’s music by DJ E-Class, plus views of the skyline from Downtown Brooklyn.
