Don’t just sit at home! There are plenty of great things to do around New York City this weekend.

Here’s a look at some of the best events happening around town between April 19-21.

Friday, April 19: Clothing exchange!

Earth Month Clothing Donation Exchange: To celebrate Earth Month and give back to the community, W New York – Times Square is collecting old garments and clothing for the entire month of April from guests and locals alike. All collections will be donated to St. Mary’s Clothing Drive, giving guests the opportunity to not only recycle unwanted pieces from their wardrobe, but also make a positive impact by helping those in need this Earth Month. The donation box can be found at the Welcome Desk on the 7th Floor. W New York – Times Square, 1567 Broadway, Manhattan. All day. Free. 

Architects of Air’s Daedalum: Bring the whole family to experience a gigantic, whimsical labyrinth for three weeks at Damrosch Park. Daedalum is formed out of 19 egg-shaped domes, twisting and turning into the tunnels of a maze. Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center, Amsterdam Ave &, W 62nd St., Manhattan. 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Free. 

Saturday, April 20: Become a zookeeper for the day!

Junior Keepers at the Bronx Zoo: Kids can get up close to animals, meet conservation experts and more! During this session, learn all about budgies, the colorful birds that live at the Bronx Zoo. Participants will gain early access to the zoo, help make enrichment for our animals, and get an up close animal encounter with a small animal ambassador. This drop-off program is ideal for kids ages 8-12. Bronx Zoo, 2300 Southern Blvd., Bronx. 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. $60; $48 WCS members. 

Thai Fest: The first-ever Thai Fest promises to bring the authentic flavors and vibrant culture of Thailand to the heart of New York City. Attendees can look forward to a diverse array of authentic Thai street food from some of NYC’s most popular Thai restaurants. 6th Avenue between 29th and 30th Streets, Manhattan. 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Free admission. 

Sunday, April 21: Earth Day shopping!

Apple Blossom Children’s Carnival: Put the Spring in your step down on the farm with the Apple Blossom Children’s Carnival! Merry Go Round in our orchard and celebrate the season with assorted carnival rides. Add to the fun with hayrides, midway games, local food vendors, and a visit with the farm animals. Queens County Farm Museum, 75-50 Little Neck Pkwy., Queens. 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. $16.95-$23. 

NYC Earth Day Bazaar: Discover sustainable artistry and eco-friendly finds while embracing the spirit of Spring and Earth Day! This is where sustainability meets creativity, both indoors and outdoors. Grand Bazaar NYC, 100 W 77th St., Manhattan. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Free admission.
