Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s approval rating across the U.S. has to be somewhere around 99.7 percent. If the Dems want to defeat Trump (or rather Mike Pence, since Trump is on track to be impeached by Memorial Day) in 2020, they should just give The Rock the nod now.
The man simply brings people together. This past Monday, he called former WWE superstar CM Punk in the middle of the ring after the show went off the air. In case you didn’t know, Punk despises WWE (like, for real) and alleged that Vince McMahon bankrolled a defamation lawsuit against him. That didn’t stop The Rock from calling Punk on his personal cell phone in the middle of the ring Monday night when fans began chanting Punk's name.
“Hey Punk, it’s Rock, this is not a joke. I’m literally calling you from the middle of the Staples Center with about 15,000 strong. I hope you can hear this. Again, this is not a rib. They are chanting your name!”
Obviously The Rock is bigger than WWE at this point, so there’s not much McMahon could have done other than giving The Rock a disapproving nod.

Punk acknowledged The Rock’s gesture about an offer after it happened, tweeting, “Thanks Los Angeles. Nice to hear from you. @STAPLESCenter”
