Cops are investigating two violent muggings in Central Park, one involving a roving gang of teen toughs who attacked a young couple and an unrelated mugging of a woman whose purse was taken. Incident 1
At about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, a gang of as many as 15 teens set upon a young couple as they sat on a bench in Herkshire Playground.
The toughs menaced the victims with a knife and laser pointer, chasing the male victim. Meanwhile, the 17-year-old woman was socked in the face.

Cops are specifically looking for a Hispanic female suspect and a male Black suspect.
Suspect #1 – female Hispanic, teens, 5’5″, 135 lbs.
Suspect #2 – male black, teens, 6’0″, 210 lbs.
Incident 2
On Sunday night, a woman was robbed in the park, NYPD Chief of Department James O’Neill said, according to NBC4 , when a man took a woman’s purse.
“We are concerned because it’s not something we see in Central Park,” O’Neill said.
Cops have said a reported third incident, involving a 45-year-old Bronx man on the 81st Street transverse was unfounded.
