The Grim Reaper is dead.
Dalton Branch emptied his .380 caliber semi-automatic into Patricia “Patsy” Mohamed, 55, after reportedly first shooting at her new in the lot of the casino, which sits on the grounds of the old Aqueduct Raceway, near JFK Airport.
It was 2:20 a.m. when the drama first started.
After killing Mohammed, Dalton then taunted the man he missed — and that’s how the NYPD caught up with him.
“He was taunting the survivor of the shooting via text messages,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce told crime scene reporters at P.S. 4, near Pennsylvania and Stanley avenues, in Brooklyn.
He called himself The Grim Reaper.
“He had also called other persons involved in this case here, a relative of the victim, female victim, taunting them as well, back and forth.”
Dalton vowed, “he’s not going easy.”
The Post reports that Branch has had run-ins with cops before and “served time in state prison for grabbing a cop’s gun in 1997, after which he was shot.”
The bullets started flying Tuesday around 5 a.m. at P.S. 4 as three plainclothes cops approached Dalton’s white Dodge Charger.
This time, he did not survive.
