Cozy up to one of these Boston bars with fireplaces

With temps dropping and winter storm Jonas waiting to descend upon us, grab a hot toddy and cozy up at one of Boston’s many bars and restaurants in Boston where a crackling fire keeps guests warm.

Fenway/Back Bay

AtCitizen Public House & Oyster Bar(1310 Boylston St.) in Fenway, a historic fireplace originally found in a Dorchester home has been transplanted to the dining room. A little further downtown in the former Boston Police Headquarters is the Loews Boston Hotel, where the cozyPrecinct Kitchen & Bar(154 Berkeley St.) is a great place for dinner or drinks with friends. And closebyisDeuxave(371 Commonwealth Ave.), where the gas fireplace complements the refined setting and delicious French food.

Closer to the Boston Public Garden is French outpostBistro du Midi(272 Boylston St.), where Chef Robert Sisca presents seasonal ingredients and bold flavors of Provence next to one of the best views in Boston.
