Are Jenny Slate and Jon Hamm a thing? The whole Internet certainly hopes so!
The paparazzi caught the pair going to the movies together. And we all know, if two people are attractive, celebrities, and live in Hollywood, their relationship can’t be platonic. It just wouldn’t make sense.
Slate, 35, and Hamm, 46, have been “friends” for a “while.” Great cover guys! But no actually: They’re both in the movie “Aardvark,” and surely that counts for something. They’re also both pretty funny, they both are single, and they both have faces with all the requisite parts. Must be meant to be!
Hamm most recently confessed to The Guardian that being handsome is hard work. “I bring more to the table than what I represent physically,” he told the site. “And it’s a daily struggle to prove that. Obviously it’s a lovely thing for people to say… [I’m handsome], but sometimes it comes with a sh—y dig underneath.” Poor thing!
Slate, of course, who appears to be the most delightful human, most recently broke up with Captain America himself — yep. Chris Evans. Talking about their relationship, she said “I first really liked Chris as a person because he is so unpretentious. [And] to be quite honest, I didn’t think I was his type.”
She continued, “I mean, I understand why I think I’m beautiful, but if you’ve had a certain lifestyle and I’m a very, very different type of person — I don’t want to be an experiment.”
They mostly broke up just because like, they were ultimately very different. But they only have super nice things to say about each other.
Anyway, Slate and Hamm could be just friends. But if they are more than just friends, well. They have my dang approval — which I’m confident they’ve been waiting for.
