Chelsea Handler parties too hard at her 40th birthday bash

Justin Bieber wasn’t the only celebrity celebrating a big birthday recently. While he was down on a private island in the Caribbean — rather smartly, I might add — Chelsea Handler decided to throw her 40th birthday bash at her own home. And it did not end well. In fact, it ended with the cops shutting the whole shindig down, according to Radar Online. Handler’s Bel Air neighbors reportedly lodged the noise complaints that attracted the police, sending her guests home early in the pouring rain. Some people just don’t like fun.

Perhaps her penchant for loud partying also had something to do with her newly acquired marijuana prescription card? If not, she at least has a way to mellow out after such a letdown.
