While there are mixed feelings about Taylor Swift being our city's new New York Ambassador, the skyline will be welcoming her this Friday night. On December 12, the Empire State Building will put on a music-to-light show synchronized to Taylor Swift's new song, "Welcome to New York." It will take place right before iHeartRadio and Z100's annual Jingle Ball conert at 7 p.m.

If you can't manage to get a glimpse of the Empire State Building while the light show is going on, you can watch it later at empirestatebuilding.com or on YouTube.

Swift isn't the only singer the Empire State Building is dancing with this holiday season. From December 20 through the 24th, the building's lights will be synchronized with special effects to various holiday songs, so keep your eye on the sky! All the videos will be posted to the ESB's website and on YouTube as well.
