CBS‘s long-time reality program, inspired originally by the Dutch series of the same name, has delivered 20 Big Brother seasons to the small screen. After successfully recruiting a handful of stars as housemates in 2018 — featuring names like Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath and former White House aide Omarosa Manigault — the series is about to return with a whole new collection of famous folks to root for. Here is everything you need to know about the Big Brother Celebrity Edition season 2 premiere.

The Big Brother Celebrity Edition season 2 premiere date

Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina, former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, former NFL running back Ricky Williams, WWE superstar Natalie Eva Marie, Kato Kaelin, athlete Lolo Jones, Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss and Mean Girls actor Jonathan Bennett round out the group vying for the $250,000 prize.

Julie Chen will return to host Big Brother Celebrity Edition season 2

After she stepped down as one of the hosts of the CBS daytime series, The Talk, amid sexual harassment allegations against husband and disgraced CBS CEO Les Moonves, Julie Chen will return to the network to once again host Big Brother Celebrity Edition season 2. Chen hosted the first season of the competition series in 2018 and hosted The Talk since its inception back in 2009.
