A pair of teenaged robbers grabbed an unsuspecting target’s phone on the F train but threw it on the tracks when their victim chased after them.
Police said they were on the lookout for the two unidentified teens suspected of stealing a Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone on Dec. 22.
The phone nabbers waited until the doors of a northbound F Train were closing at the Seventh Avenue station before they grabbed the phone from the 36-year-old man at around 5:10 p.m.
One robber held the subway doors open while the other grabbed the phone, but the would-be victim gave chase.
The robbers then threw the smartphone onto the tracks as they ran and disappeared.
Authorities described both robbers as light-skinned Hispanic teens thought to be about 16 years old and about 5-feet-7-inches tall, one boy with an afro-like hairstyle.
