Director Ruben Fleischer is taking Marvel’s most terrifying anti-hero to the big screen with Tom Hardy playing the role of Eddie Brock and his alien symbiote alter ego “Venom”. This hard R rated flick is promising an uncompromising take on this character that is bound to be much more brutal than Topher Grace’s portrayal from Spider-Man 3. The film also stars Michelle Williams and Riz Ahmed.

Bradley Cooper co-wrote, directed, and stars this remake of the classic film as Jackson Maine, a famous Americana musician who falls in love and mentors an unknown singer played by Lady Gaga. Even though the film isn’t out until next month, it has garnered some resoundingly positive reviews and has already reached a 95% rating through Rotten Tomatoes. With original songs written by such heavy hitters as Jason Isbell and Lukas Nelson, this could be the next in a long line of music-centric films with Oscar in its sights.

Plus, the film will feature an original score by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke to add to this classic nightmarish story.
