Kelly Ripa is not taking Michael Strahan’s news very well

Earlier this week, Michael Strahan announced that he’s leaving “Live with Kelly and Michael” in September to become a co-anchor at “Good Morning America,” and if that news caught you off-guard, imagine how Kelly Ripa feels. I mean, you’ll have to imagine, since she flat-out didn’t show up to work on Wednesday, one day after the news broke.

Sources tell TMZ that Ripa is livid over not having any advance word about the move, and she spent Wednesday staying home fuming and feeling humiliated. And really, can you blame her? She’s the co-host whose been there longer — and whose name comes first in the title — so you couldn’t give her at least a little advance notice before the press release comes out?

That’s cold, Strahan. That’s cold.
