Tom Brady’s Deflategate drama drags on as the NFL and lawyers for Brady failed to reach a settlement Monday morning in federal court.

The New England Patriots quarterback and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell appearedin federal court Monday as the NFL Players Association mulled over Brady’s four-game Deflategate suspension.

The NFL reported that the judge overseeing the case will not come to a decision Monday, though it could come as early as Tuesday or Wednesday.

U.S. District Judge Richard Berman said he will likely decide whether to uphold or throw out the suspension within one or two days — Friday at the latest, Reuters reported.
