The first robbery was at the Mobil Mart at 84-04 Parsons Blvd., which netted the suspects $3,000 after they threatened the store employee with a gun, authorities stated.

This robbery was followed by six similar incidents over the span of two weeks. The BP at 546 Morgan Ave. was targeted on Sunday, Feb. 21, at 11:15 a.m., but the robber, working alone, fled when the clerk refused to hand over any money, according to the NYPD.

Just 30 minutes after the previous attempted robbery, the Sunoco at 1188 Metropolitan Ave. was robbed of $250 before another gas station, the BP at 644 Bushwick Ave., was targeted but netted the suspect nothing as the employee refused his demands, police stated.

On the same day, at around 2 p.m., the suspect emerged again at a gas station, the BP at 784 Jamaica Ave., and was able to flee with $1,200 after threatening the employee with a gun.

The sixth incident, which again featured two suspects, took place Friday, Feb. 26, shortly before 3 a.m. at a Gulf gas station at 138-19 Hillside Ave. The duo made off with $729 and a customer’s cellphone, the NYPD reported. A little more than an hour later, the suspects robbed another gas station, the Citgo at 85-05 Astoria Blvd., of $400 and boxes of cigarettes.
