If you are one of Taylor Swift’s more than 51 million Twitter followers, you may have noticed some very weird tweets from the star amid the flurry of #Snowmaggedon dispatches that are probably currently filling your feed.

The tech site The Verge notes that Swift is the owner of “the fourth largest account on Twitter, making this one of the higher-profile breaches that have occurred on the network.”

The hackers sent out a series of tweets urging followers to follow the two accounts who seemingly engineered the hack. Just a few minutes later, Swift’s Instagram was also compromised, but the offending photos were taken down within minutes.

The hackers also claimed that they had obtained nude photos of Bitcoin, which they said they would release after being paid in Bitcoin.

Fortunately for Swift, both accounts were recovered within a matter of minutes.
