Conan & Friends: An Evening of Stand-Up and Investment Tips

Bay State native Conan O’Brien will be back in Boston this week for a pair of special shows at The Wilbur with a few of his comedy pals. See the late-night host bring the laughs alongside Rory Scovel, Deon Cole, Ron Funches, Laurie Kilmartin, Taylor Tomlinson, Marina Franklin, James Veitch, Moses Storm and Flula Borg on Tuesday night. ‘Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience’

The fan-favorite, Harry Potter-themed parody show kicks off its run in Boston on Tuesday night. “Potted Potter” is a pretty hilarious attempt at condensing all seven books into one 70-minute event, and even includes a real-life Quidditch game. Diwali: The Festival of Lights

Celebrate the Festival of Lights with the Museum of Fine Arts on Wednesday. In addition to offering free admission after 4 p.m., the MFA will host an evening of live music, dance performances, poetry and more in honor of Diwali. Guests can also enjoy a kids story hour with Sailaja Joshi, CEO and founder of Bharat Babies, who’ll read the children’s book “Let’s Celebrate Diwali.” The book’s illustrator Tim Palin will be there as well for interactive drawing activity and a book signing.
