Apple made waves on Monday when it unveiled the Apple Watch at its event, showcasing its features and announcing ship dates. But Apple also made another important announcement: The tech giant will have a partnership with HBO and launch the app HBO Now, which will be the cable network’s first standalone streaming service. It will be available exclusively on Apple devices and will cost $14.99 per month. It launches in April and HBO Now will be available as a channel on Apple TV.
To celebrate, HBO unveiled a new “Game of Thrones” trailer at the Apple event. Season 5 will premiere on Sunday, April 12.
