A woman was fatally struck by an M train in Queens Friday morning in what officials are saying was an apparent suicide. The incident happened at the Elmhurst Avenue station just before 9 a.m. According to published reports, the woman,who was in her 30s, jumped in front of the train.
No additional information has been released on the woman’s identity.
The incident interrupted service on E, F, M and R trains, but trains have resumed servicewith delays.
