Motorist dead after head-on wrong way crash on I-495

Police said that a man who was driving his car the wrong way down I-495 was killed after crashing into another vehicle around 2 a.m. Thursday.

The other driver was injured but survived, Boston.com reported.

The driver who died was only identified as a male of Norton, Ma.

He was reportedly driving the wrong way in the southbound lanes of I-495 when he struck the other car.

The other driver, a 21-year-old female from Barnstable, Ma., who was struck at some point between exits 13 and 14, was injured in the crash and remains in serious condition, according to Boston.com.
