A traveler from Jamaica has been arrested after authorities allegedly found about three pounds of cocaine hidden in coffee in her bag.

Sherese Lee Ann Drake faced drug smuggling charges after authorities said she arrived from Montego Bay, Jamaica, with approximately $50,000 worth of cocaine in her possession, CBS2 reported.

When she went through inspection at JFK, customs officers found a plastic bag of coffee in her baggage, authorities said to NBC4. Upon testing, officers determined that the coffee in fact contained cocaine.

Authorities stated that Drake has been turned over to the Port Authority Police Department to face the smuggling charges, NBC4 added.

This arrest was just one in a string of recent cocaine busts at JFK. In February, authorities found a half-pound of cocaine inserted in a passenger’s vagina, and last month, officials uncovered two pounds of the drug being smuggled inside cakes.
