PRISON BREAK
It’s over: David Sweat, one of two New York state inmates who escaped from prison three weeks ago, was shot by police near the Canadian border and rushed to a local hospital on Sunday, two days after his accomplice was killed.

CAR BAN IN PARKS BEGINS
A ban on carsin Prospect Park in Brooklyn, and Manhattan’s Central Park, north of 72nd Street, is in effect.

MORRISSEY
Morrissey, with Blondie, rocked meatless, “cruelty-free” Madison Square Garden Saturday night in a politically-charged show that had both Moz and Debbie Harry in fighting form. Editor-at-large John A. Oswald reports.

BET AWARDS
