Authorities have released footage of a man suspected of mugging an elderly woman in the Bronx earlier this month.
Around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, near the corner of Clay Avenue and East 170 Street in Claremont, an 82-year-old woman was pushed to the ground and had her purse forcibly taken from her, police said. RELATED:Watch Bronx barbershop robbery as stylist cuts customer’s hair The suspect, an adult man, fled with her purse, which contained $37, authorities added. The woman was uninjured in the incident.
Police described the suspect as approximately 5-foot-7 and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, hoodie, blue jeans and black sneakers.
