Police want to speak to a man who might have seen what led to the up to the beating death of a Brooklyn man in late August.

Jose Guzman, 42, died days after cops said an unknown white Hispanic man punched and kicked Guzman to the ground in front of a Bushwick restaurant around 4 a.m. on Aug. 24.

Paramedics rushed Guzman to a local hospital, where he remained in critical condition until he died from his injuries, police said Wednesday.

Authorities re-released surveillance video of the man who they suspect got into the argument with Guzman off of Gates Avenue. The latest version shows second man who police think might have been a witness to the assault or can identify the attacker.

NYPD described the possible witness as a white, blond-haired man last seen wearing a green V-neck T-shirt, dark pants, glasses and a backpack.
