The NYPD is asking the public for help to fill in the gaps ofIsmaaiyl Brinsley’s movements in the hours before he shot two police officers in Bed-Stuy.
Police released a video of Brinsley in Atlantic Yards in Brooklyn, where he was last seen. Police think Brinsley, who was wearing a jacket with an arrowhead patch and camouflage pants, was in Fort Greene or Bed-Stuy before the shooting. Brinsley is identified as black, 27 years old and weighing 240 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
