You may have heard that breakfast is important — in a new study, middle schoolers who skipped it were more likely to be obese than those who ate two.

While scientists unravel that bit of caloric mystery, Subway is jumping onboard with free 6-inch breakfast sandwiches during the entire month of May with the purchase of any sub. The three egg-and-cheese varieties on grilled flatbread come with either black forest ham, steak or Applewood bacon, which can be topped with any of their usual veggie options for an uncommonly nutritious option in the fast-food breakfast world.

Two things to keep in mind: The deal is only good before 9 a.m., and unless they can separate your sandwich fillings from the bread (like mom used to do when you were in school, holla!) you're looking at a bit of sogginess by the time lunch comes around.
