Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander Wang, Diane von Furstenberg…You’d assume one of these names would be at the top of the list for the most Googled designer of the year, right? Well guess again. The honor goes to 19-year-old Bethany Mota. As perhaps a sign of the times, the YouTube star turned designer is the most searched of the year. Mota scored a huge deal in 2014 with Aeropostale when the brand asked her to design not only clothes, but accessories, perfume and home decor, too. Her success shows no signs of slowing down, so expect to see a lot more of her in 2015. Below is the list of the most Googled fashion designers of 2014:
